Ichetucknee Springs State Park, North Entrance, 8294 SW Elim Church Rd, Fort White, 32038

Join us for a leisurely afternoon at Ichetucknee Springs State Park as we walk along shaded trails in search of Spotted wakerobin (Trillium maculatum) and other early spring blooms!

Ichetucknee Springs State Park features the 6-mile crystal clear Ichetucknee river that winds through a lush mesic hammock full of interesting native flora and fauna. On this trip, we will explore both the Trestle Point trail, which follows the river, and the Blue Hole trail down to the Blue Hole spring. Total walking distance will be around 3 miles.

Please wear comfortable hiking clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little muddy. Sun protection and bug spray are also recommended.

Registration is free for Florida Wildflower Foundation members and $10 for nonmembers. Note: The entrance fee to Itchetucknee Springs State Park is $6 per vehicle (2-8 people; $4 for single driver) unless occupants have an annual pass.
