Molly Phillips joined the Florida Wildflower Foundation in 2026 as a program coordinator, overseeing the Roadsides, Bee City Gainesville and Seeds of Knowledge programs. She works with local advocates, Foundation members, municipalities and FDOT to establish and maintain wildflower corridors along roadsides, utility easements, public gardens, libraries and schools.

A longtime Florida resident, Molly is passionate about protecting Florida’s biodiversity and ecosystems for future generations. She holds a master’s degree in biology and a bachelor’s degree in wildlife ecology and conservation, with a career spanning natural history collections, state agencies, biological field stations, nonprofits and the U.S. Air Force.

When she isn’t working, you can find her on the trail, in the garden, tending her farm animals, or behind an easel painting Florida native flora and fauna.
