
South Florida Outreach Coordinator
Kati DeSutter joined the Florida Wildflower Foundation in 2025 as its first South Florida Outreach Coordinator. She brings a background in small business, having worked with start-ups and helped guide their operations through rapid growth stage before stepping back in search of a more balanced path. Now, she is focused on expanding the Foundation’s presence in South Florida and connecting communities with the regions’ rich native plant diversity.
Kati holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Keiser University and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University. A South Florida native and budding naturalist, she brings a fresh perspective to the Foundation, combining her business savvy with a passion for Florida’s natural world. She enjoys learning from field experts and exploring nature with her husband and son.
