Education and Planting
Recently retired as Wildflower Project Manager for FDOT District 3, Bob brings more than two decades of knowledge of native roadside plant populations to the task of monitoring FDOT’s Efficient Transit Decision Making (ETDM) process. Using the ETDM database, he helps keep the Foundation and its partners abreast of construction projects that may impact native wildflower and plant populations. With that knowledge, the Foundation works with FDOT and the Florida Native Plant Society to plan roadside plant rescues. Bob is a registered landscape architect and ISA Certified Arborist, and he has had a long and varied career in native plant advocacy and sustainable landscape design. He is also a talented artist.
