In 2009, a model county resolution was developed by Foundation Board members Eleanor Dietrich and Jeff Caster to increase roadside wildflowers. The model resolution recognizes the historical, environmental and cultural significance of Florida wildflowers and pledges to conserve roadside wildflowers through management practices such as reduced mowing. This editable document can serve as a starting point for communities wishing to craft their own resolution.
