Join us to keep our Bee City Gainesville Gardens buzzing! During volunteer workdays we work together because many hands make light work and there is always something to learn from each other.
For our first event in this monthly series, we will gather at the Evergreen Cemetery Native Plant Garden to show it some love and help it thrive.
When and where: Meet us at Evergreen Cemetery (401 SE 21st Ave, Gainesville, FL 32641) at 9:00am. We will work until 11:00 am or until we have finished with our tasks.
What to expect: You can expect light yardwork tasks like weeding, adding mulch, and watering. You can also expect to be in community with other like-minded folks, learning more about native plants as you help a garden thrive.
What to bring: Be sure to wear close-toe shoes and long pants. Bring water, snacks, bug spray, sunscreen and a hat. Bring your own gloves and gardening tools if you have them, but we will have a limited amount of both to share too.
