End-of-year giving keeps the momentum going!

It’s been an incredible year for the Florida Wildflower Foundation! Thanks to our supporters, 2025 was a year of growth, partnership and impact for Florida’s native wildflowers and the wildlife they support. Together, we turned community spaces into thriving native habitats, expanded roadside conservation, and inspired thousands of Floridians to plant for pollinators.

This year, we strengthened the foundation of our Roadsides program, which protects native wildflower corridors along Florida’s highways and byways. With active partnerships in nine counties and teams of dedicated Wildflower Watchers monitoring sites statewide, we’re building systems for training, data collection and ongoing evaluation that will guide best practices across Florida.

We also took an important next step for the future of Florida’s native plant conservation. In partnership with the University of Florida, we launched the Florida Native Seed Partnership, a collaborative effort to ensure that high-quality, locally sourced native seeds are available for restoration, roadsides and community projects. With a full-time coordinator now on board, we’re ready to begin connecting agencies, growers and conservation partners to strengthen the foundation of native habitat work statewide.

It’s an ambitious effort — one that reflects just how far we’ve come together. And as we look toward our 25th anniversary in February 2026, we’re filled with gratitude for all that our supporters have made possible. For 25 years, we have planted the seeds of lasting change — and today, those seeds are flourishing.

A gift before December 31 will help us enter the new year ready to bloom even brighter.

Why should I give an end-of-year gift to the Florida Wildflower Foundation?

Give to be a part of something bigger. We’re part of a growing movement of native plant and wildflower advocates across the state. With more than 30,000 drivers sporting the State Wildflower license plate and a network of supporters that is expanding by the day, we’re fostering a community of like-minded individuals that understand the importance of protecting our fragile environment.

Give for future generations. Everyone deserves to see how La Florida, the “land of flowers,” got its name. By preserving wildflowers in their natural habitats, and creating new wildflower habitat in urban areas, we will ensure that future generations can enjoy the beauty and diversity of Florida’s blooms.

Give for tax benefits. If you itemize your taxes, your 2025 charitable donation can provide real financial benefits — and this is the last year deductions will work the way they always have. Make your gift by December 31, 2025 (postmarked by then if mailing a check) and maximize your impact for both your community and your taxes. Check with your tax advisor to see if a deduction applies to you.

Give for survival. Wildflowers are critical to pollinators, and pollinators are critical to us. Did you know that pollinators are responsible for every third bite of food we eat? Yet pollinator populations are in decline as a result of habitat loss and pesticide use. Your gift will help us create more wildflower habitat that will support and protect the pollinators we depend on for our own survival.
