Viva Florida grant opens - Florida Wildflower Foundation

Pictured above: The Orange County UF/IFAS Extension was recently awarded funding to expand its 2018 Viva Florida demonstration wildflower meadow.

The Foundation is now accepting applications for its Viva Florida Landscape Demonstration grant.

The grants provide up to $3,000 of assistance to Florida parks, nature centers, county extension offices and other public spaces that wish to establish or augment wildflower demonstration gardens. Resulting gardens showcase the beauty and variety of Florida’s native wildflowers while demonstrating their use in conventional landscapes. Required educational components may include classes, signage and educational materials.

Applications will be accepted through Mar. 15, 2021. Awardees will be notified by May 15, 2021. Click to learn more and to download the application.
