Email RKinane@FlaWildflowers.org to be added to the waiting list. \n\n\n\nFlorida Wildflower Foundation members can register for field trips before the general public. Become a Florida Wildflower Foundation member today for early access! \n\n\n\nTrip Lead: Emily Bell\, FWF \n\n\n\nJoin us for a guided exploration of the sandhill and pine flatwoods ecosystems of Black Creek Ravines Conservation Area in Clay County. \n\n\n\nThis floristically rich site supports a remarkable diversity of native wildflowers. Along the trail\, we’ll be on the lookout for endemic Indian plantain (Arnoglossum floridanum)\, endangered Bartram’s ixia (Calydorea caelestina) and the striking Tuberous grasspink orchid (Calopogon tuberosus). \n\n\n\nThis moderately difficult hike will take us over varied terrain\, including sandy and loose gravel trails\, with the potential for wet and mucky conditions. Appropriate footwear\, sun protection and insect repellent are recommended. \n\n\n\nRegistration is free for Florida Wildflower Foundation members and $10 for non-members.
