FIELD TRIP — Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve State Park

Join us Saturday, Feb. 25 at 9:30am for a tour of Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve State Park led by Florida Wildflower Foundation’s Emily Bell. This hike will take you through pine flatwoods, sandhill and ephemeral wetlands where we will see a wide diversity of native flora including the carnivorous Small butterwort (Pinguicula pumila) and lovely Skyblue lupine (Lupinus diffusus).

FIELD TRIP — Everglades National Park

Join us Saturday, March 18 at 9:00am for a guided hike in Everglades National Park. Renowned naturalist and author Roger Hammer will lead us through pine rockland, prairie and hardwood hammock ecosystems in search of flowering grass-pink orchids and other unique wildflowers.

FIELD TRIP — Let’s Go Explore with Dr. Corey Callaghan

Join us Sunday, March 26 at 8:30am to explore wildlife of Markham Park using community science tools. Dr. Corey Callaghan, University of Florida professor, will lead us on an exploration of a biodiverse nature trail and help us identify the interesting wildlife around us.
