This hike will take you through pine flatwoods, sandhill and ephemeral wetlands where we will see a wide diversity of native flora including the carnivorous Small butterwort (Pinguicula pumila) and lovely Skyblue lupine (Lupinus diffusus).
Join us Saturday, March 18 at 9:00am for a guided hike in Everglades National Park. Renowned naturalist and author Roger Hammer will lead us through pine rockland, prairie and hardwood hammock ecosystems in search of flowering grass-pink orchids and other unique wildflowers.
Join us Sunday, March 26 at 8:30am to explore wildlife of Markham Park using community science tools. Dr. Corey Callaghan, University of Florida professor, will lead us on an exploration of a biodiverse nature trail and help us identify the interesting wildlife around us.
