September 12 @ 9:30 am 12:00 pm

Join Florida Wildflower Foundation Board Member CJ McCartney and Palm Beach County Environmental Resource Management staff on a leisurely walk at the Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area.

We will photograph and enjoy the various colors of fall in the South Florida flatwoods. We will also explore the wildflowers and wildlife that thrive along the canals and after a burn in this expansive restored natural area.

If registration is full on Eventbrite, email CJ at cjwildflowersFWF@gmail.com for additional information.

Total walking distance will be approximately 2 miles, will involve walking on natural surfaces and may involve getting your feet (but not your knees) wet. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty. There are no restrooms on site.
