May 14 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

Join us on Sunday, May 14th at 10am to see fields of wildflowers in bloom.

Note: Due to the drought in North Florida, the wildflower field will not be as showy as in past years. There will still be flowers in bloom, and the trip has plenty more to offer.

At 10 a.m. farm owner Terry Zinn will talk about wildflower farming and easy wildflowers to cultivate. Then he will lead the group on a tour of the farm.  Geena Hill, the Florida Wildflower Foundation’s North Florida Wildflower Alliance Liaison, will lead a short walk and talk about pollinators and the wildflowers they depend on.  A representative of the University of Florida’s Environmental Horticulture Department also will be on hand to discuss their research plot at the farm.

You are welcome to bring your lunch and stay for a picnic. Make sure to bring a camera to have your photo taken in the field of wildflowers!

Registration is free for Florida Wildflower Foundation members and $15 for nonmembers
