The Nature Conservancy’s Blowing Rocks Preserve, 574 S Beach Rd, Hobe Sound, FL 33455

Come celebrate National Wildflower Week with us as the Let’s Go Explore Series continues with The Nature Conservancy’s South Florida Land Conservation Manager, Sarah Kittredge.

This adventure will take us through the meticulous restoration at Blowing Rocks Preserve that utilizes the latest innovations in conservation. With 73 acres on Jupiter’s barrier island, Kittredge will discuss how Blowing Rocks Preserve is managing for a changing environment. We will explore trails that showcase the native plants, animals and wildflowers that thrive there. FWF board member, CJ McCartney will join the tour and participate in conversations around the biodiversity that creates this unique and special habitat.

This hike is relatively easy, but does include sandy trails that may be wet. Closed-toed shoes are recommended and be sure to bring water and sun protection.

Registration is free for Florida Wildflower Foundation members and $10 for nonmembers.
