Join Florida Wildflower Foundation to explore the wildlife of Broward County’s Markham Park using community science tools.
Corey Callaghan, University of Florida professor, will lead us on an exploration of a biodiverse nature trail and help us identify the interesting wildlife around us. Along the way we will photograph what we see to utilize the Community Science tools of iNaturalist and eBird. Dr. Callaghan will discuss how scientists are using these tools to better understand the biodiversity that surrounds us. Sponsored by the Florida Wildflower Foundation, we will be joined by board member, CJ McCartney.
Walking distance will be about one mile.

Registration is free for Florida Wildflower Foundation members and $10 for nonmembers. There is an additional $1.50 entrance fee per person for the park.
